Project Kristofori- Business
The fact is that an average person spends most of the time ( when not sleeping, of course )
at work. Most people are not aware that they remain „inseparable“ from God, since they have been „carrying“ Him inside from the moment they were baptised.Christianity ought to be lived 24/7, and the Bible speaks openly of our workingdays and about the time we spend at our workplace..
A believer should be aware of the inevitable end not only during Sunday mass, but also while performing everyday duties and chores and in everyday family life. An employee looks at his superior and especially at his employer in a different way. Issues disclosed with questions on business ethics and justice cannot be answered in a satisfactory way without God. An employer must ask himself if he is an owner of a company or merely a steward of something given by God!
A rich employer, when deciding on the salary for his employees must ask himself whether he is willing to let himself one day be measured the same way , when the time for eternal rewards comes about ! A poor employee must ask himself wether he puts his faith and hope in his employer or in God ? Where from shall his aid come ? One the other side, John the Baptist, when urging people to convert, answered the questions of the soldiers that did not know what to do by telling them to be content with their earnings. Employers also should be aware of the fact that by their position within the working hierarchy they impact greatly the spiritual consciousness of their employees directly by their testimony of living.
Jesus calls us to become his witnesses. Being aware of all of this, Kristofori Society started organising smaller groups for employeers and leading business people in so called „clubs“. A club is consisted of permanent members closed for any outsiders, numbering twelve.. The club meetings are held once or twice a month, in the form of two and a half hour sessions. Club members grow in faith together under the guidance of an experienced member and under the watchfull eye of a spritual guide assigned to the community.
By absorbing truths in faith the members think and discuss about the relationship between the word of God and business.Currently, a third club is being formed, and judging by the experience of the already existing ones the Society can see and recognize in these activities an extrordinary way of implementing christian values in workplaces and society in general. The clubs function in a way that is completely in harmony with the mentality of the members and it generates for them substantial spiritual benefits.

Bible, John:
1 he elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.
2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
5 Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;
6 Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well:
7 Because that for his name’s sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.
8 We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth.
9 I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
12 Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.
13 I had many things to write, but I will not with ink and pen write unto thee:
14 But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name.
